FIELD: technological processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: mill comprises reversible rolling cage for rolling of strip in several passes until required value of thickness is achieved, at least one reversible reeler connected to reversible mill with drum for intermediate storage of metal strip after every separate rolling operation, sensor device for determination of metal strip thickness. Possibility to reel strip as its thickness changes without crack formation is provided by the fact that mill is equipped with device for replacement of winding hubs that provides for installation of winding hub on reeler drum prior to intermediate storage of metal strip and removal of winding hub from reeler drum between two subsequent rolling operations, if thickness of metal strip determined with sensor device remains larger than required value, but less than previously set transitional value of thickness. ^ EFFECT: reduction of expenses and increase of mobility in process of rolling blanks with different thickness at different stages of metal strip production. ^ 11 cl, 4 dwg |
