Method and device for manufacturing reliable calibre sausages

The device has a filling tube with a filling tube cross-section and a longitudinal axis for filling of sausage tubes (140,140a) with sausage meat from a sausage meat storage. A carriage (130) is formed to allow a relative movement along the longitudinal axis of the filling tube of a sausage tube. The sausage tube is arranged on the carriage and coaxial to the filling tube. A portion of the filling tube is arranged in the sausage tube in one position and the sausage tube is spaced from the filling tube in the direction of the longitudinal axis in another position. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a frame for receiving multiple sausage tubes; (2) a method for producing caliber sausage; and (3) a method for storing and processing of caliber sausage.
