PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce surface tension of liquid which operates in the direction that an internal organ wall surface and a case body are brought into contact and to easily separate the case body from the internal organ surface wall even when the internal organ wall surface and the case body come into contact with each other in a state that they float on the liquid surface inside the internal organ. SOLUTION: In a capsule type endoscope 1, specific gravity is set small in proportion to the liquid inside the internal organ to float the case body 2 on the liquid surface S of the liquid, gravity G is set at a position away from a center C of the case body 2, and a specific floating posture of the case body 2 is maintained in the state that it floats on the liquid surface S. A boundary part B between the case body 2 and the liquid surface S is formed at a position which is inside a projection surface Ka vertically projecting the case body 2 taking the specific floating posture with respect to the liquid surface S that excludes an outer periphery Kb of the projection surface Ka.
