METHOD FOR CONTACT HEATING OF LIQUIDS

A method for contact heating of liquids relates to heat engineering and can be used at development of heat-mass exchange apparatuses for heating and evaporation of liquid media with gaseous heat carriers. The method is based on use of modes of super-cavitation (complex cavitation) with following organization of processes of contact heat transfer at phase boundary (surface of pocket). Intensifying of contact heating is achieved due to increase of rates of liquid and gaseous phases on the pocket boundary and as result by means of increase of useful temperature drop at inter-phase surface. Contact of jet of immersed burner and liquid phase at pocket boundary takes place directly, i.e. without presence of heat transfer surface, this increases a lot effectiveness of contact heating.
