The pump has a separating can (1) including a hat-shaped separation wall (10) e.g. massive wall, which is partially transparent for a magnetic and/or electric field, for contactlessly driving a pump wheel. The pump wheel is arranged in the separating can. A metal wire (20) and a flexible printed circuit board monitor the can in terms of an area. The wire and the board are arranged within a wall material of the wall or directly on a surface of the wall to monitor integrity of the wall. The wire and the board include a thickness lying in a range preferably from 0.1 mm to 0.3 mm. The separation wall is made of ceramics, polymer or fiber composite material. |
