PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image sensor and an image control system which can restore the deleted image even after an image recorded in recording media is deleted in the image sensor having a network communication function. SOLUTION: This image sensor 2 includes: an image sensing part 5; an image recording part 6 for storing an image photographed by the image sensing part 5; a deletion judging part 8 for judging whether or not a deletion instruction has been issued to the image selected by a user, etc.; a transmitting/receiving part 9 which transmits the image with the deletion instruction received to an image server 3 via a network 4, and receives a server address indicating a storage location of the image in the image server 3 from the image server 3 via the network 4; and a deleting part 10 for deleting the image transmitted by the transmitting/receiving part 9.
