PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise efficiency of image processing regarding an image processor and an image processing method. SOLUTION: A step (-Y direction) equal to width D of a processing block CB in the Y direction is formed between a dither mask DM(n) and a dither mask DM(n+1). Then, when processing of one processing block CB2 is completed, a processing block CB3 adjacent to the opposite side (+Y direction) to the step (-Y direction) is processed to the processing block CB2.
