PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptive antenna receiver for separating a received signal even when a receiving station receives signals of a plurality of transmitting stations at different timing exceeding added GI length by using the multi-user MIMO of signal carrier transmission. SOLUTION: The adaptive antenna receiver has an array antenna, M radio parts connected in each antenna element constituting the array antenna, M orthogonal converters for converting an input signal into orthogonal components, a branching device for separating and branching the orthogonal components, a plurality of directivity forming devices for weighting and combining signals of each antenna for each orthogonal component, an inverse orthogonal transformation device for receiving the orthogonal components, performing inverse orthogonal transformation and outputting a signal series, a diversity receiver for generating a diversity output for each symbol, and a signal extracting device for eliminating a plurality of the first and last symbols of the diversity output to extract a middle symbol, in a system for performing multiplex communication of a signal series between a plurality of transmitting stations and one receiving station on a space.
