PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire capable of reducing color unevenness by making hues of an irradiated light substantially uniform. SOLUTION: The luminaire A has an substantially box-shaped shade 1 opening in a front side. A reflecting mirror 2 with a reflecting surface 2c consisting of a paraboloidal surface made by rotating a paraboloidal surface around a symmetrical axis Y, and a lamp 3 with an one-side base consisting of a metal halide lamp is also housed in the shade 1. The lamp 3 is substantially parallel with an opening surface of the paraboloidal surface wherein the lamp axis forms the reflecting surface 2c of the reflecting mirror 2, and a lower end P of a light-emitting tube 3a is located on a focus of the paraboloidal surface when the shade 1 is rotatably arranged so as to make the symmetrical axis Y substantially parallel.
