PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning method for uniforming temperature distribution in a whole habitable room, and to provide an air-conditioner. SOLUTION: The air conditioning method is provided for conditioning air in a habitable room while blowing conditioned air from an air outlet into the habitable room and sucking the air in the habitable room from an air inlet. Conditioned cool air is blown from the side wall upper part of the habitable room toward a ceiling wall to cool the ceiling wall for air conditioning. The air-conditioner suitable to the air conditioning method comprises the air blow out provided on the lower part of the air-conditioner for blowing out air obliquely upward.
