PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus and program which can guide a user to a destination appropriately by allowing high-precision destination arrival decision by reducing the effect of errors possessed by current position information. SOLUTION: The navigation apparatus for, when a destination is set, performing route guidance to the destination includes: an image information acquisition means 6 for acquiring image information around the position of one's own vehicle; an image recognition means 8 for performing the image recognition of features included in the image information; a feature information acquisition means 4 for acquiring feature information including information on the position and shape of features; a decision feature determination means 5 for determining one or more features existing within a close distance from the destination as a decision feature on the basis of the feature information acquired by the feature information acquisition means; and an arrival decision means 9 for deciding arrival at the destination when the decision feature has been subjected to image recognition by the image recognition means.
