<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminating portion that makes it possible to prevent the terminal body of the terminating portion from being bent by the load of a terminal compression portion or a lead wire connected to this terminal compression portion. <P>SOLUTION: The terminating portion 10 includes: a metal rod 12 connected to a cable conductor 101; the terminal body 11 covering the joint between the cable conductor 101 and the metal rod 12 and having electrical insulation properties; and a reinforcing material 20 provided in the terminal body 11.
