<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inter-network connection device capable of shortening a system changeover time, and also reducing the power consumption of a standby system simultaneously. <P>SOLUTION: The inter-network connection device performs the synchronous processing of route information between an operational system and the standby system for providing for the fault of the operational system, shortening a synchronous time with the standby system after system changeover, and supplying power only to a route information part required for the synchronous processing without supplying power to a route retrieval part where the standby system is not operated. When a permission communication interruption time to be guaranteed is determined, the more power consumption is reduced by dynamically changing-over a power waving mode and a cold standby mode in response to the synchronous processing time to be determined based on the number of the routes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
