<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impulse transmission method and a transmission system, whose modulation efficiency is further improved, to provide a transmitter, and to provide a receiver. <P>SOLUTION: The impulse transmission system transmits an impulse signal with predetermined time width, uses time width equal to or more than N (2≤N) times of the predetermined time width as one symbol time, uses a value obtained by dividing the predetermined time width by a predetermined integer as basic delay timeτ, and expresses data in combination for arranging k (0≤k≤N) pieces of impulse signals by delaying them by integral multiples of the basic delay time from the start of one symbol time within one symbol time, and is provided with: the transmitter 1 which converts transmission data into a transmission signal including an impulse signal based on the combination; and the receiver 2 which receives the transmission signal, and reproduces the data from the combination of arrangement of the impulse signals within one symbol time of the received transmission signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
