<p>Wet granulation process for preparing cross-linked polyallylamine formulations comprising the steps of adding an aqueous granulating solvent system comprising at least 80% water by weight to a cross-linked polyallylamine, or a mixture of excipients comprising said cross-linked polyallylamine; granulating the mixture; and optionally drying the product obtained.</p>
