PURPOSE: A parking device for a vehicle is provided to stably maintain the parked state of a vehicle by preventing undesired parking release. CONSTITUTION: A parking device for a vehicle comprises a lever support(15), a parking lever(12), a bar(19), a parking maintaining/releasing mechanism(20), and a parking releasing rod(21). The lever support is connected to a bracket(10) of a vehicle body and has a lever cover unit(13) and a cable fastening hole(25). The parking lever is connected to the lever cover unit and can be received in the lever cover unit. The bar is connected to the lever support and has a saw-toothed portion(18). The parking maintaining/releasing mechanism restricts or releases the bar. The parking releasing rod is connected to the parking maintaining/releasing mechanism and releases the restricted state of the bar. |
