PURPOSE: Apparatus for operating a computer by one hand using fingering is provided to generate gesture information according to fingering inputted to FGS(Finger Gesture Sensor) and transmit the selected operation mode and gesture information wirelessly to host devices, thereby enabling the operation of the host devices. CONSTITUTION: FLS(Finger Location Sensor)(101), for operating a computer by one hand, comprises a FGS(102), a control unit(103), and a wireless transceiver(104). The control unit senses finger types based on the signal generated by the FLS, and selects an operation mode based on the combination of the sensed finger types and the number of fingers. The control unit generates gesture information, by analyzing the signal inputted through the FGS based on the operation mode.
