A method and an apparatus for processing a signal are provided to secure a speed and the performance while tracking a plurality of satellites using a correlator. A GPS receiver includes an RF unit(210), a signal processing unit(230) and a host controller(250). The RF unit receives the satellite signal transmitted from the satellite through an antenna. The RF unit performs the sampling to a specific sampling frequency. The signal processor produces the signal tracking value according to each satellite.
