Adhesive tape with textile holder for cable bandaging

The adhesive band comprises a textile carrier, and an adhesive layer applied on one side of the carrier. The carrier is dyed by a mixture of yellow and red colorants and/or pigments. The yellow colorant and/or the yellow pigment is based on anthraquinone. Polyester fibers and filaments of the textile carrier are completely penetrated by the colorants and/or pigments. A basis weight of the textile carrier is 30-180 g/m 2>. Independent claims are included for: (1) a textile carrier; and (2) a method of preparing a textile carrier.
