The present invention relates to novel 1,3-dihydroindol-2-one (oxindole) derivatives of the formula (I)

A, R 3 , R 4 , R 5 , R 6 and R 7 are defined according to claim 1, and to medicaments containing them for the treatment of diseases. In particular, the novel oxindole derivaties can be used for the control and/or prophylaxis of various vasopressin-dependent or oxytocin-dependent diseases.
