PURPOSE: An electrophoresis display device and a driving method are provided to discharge the output terminal voltage of a module power circuit after updating image data, thereby preventing degradation of a display quality caused by the discharge delay of driving voltages. CONSTITUTION: A display panel includes gate lines, data lines and a plurality of electrophoresis cells. A data driving circuit(120) supplies positive polarity data voltage and negative polarity data voltage to the data lines. A gate driving circuit(130) supplies a gate pulse to the gate lines. A plurality of discharge circuits(410,420) forcibly discharges the positive polarity data voltage, the negative polarity data voltage, positive polarity gate voltage and negative polarity gate voltage.
