MANUFACTURE APPARATUS FOR DOVE TAIL OF BOTTOM BAR IN EDGE TYPE LED DISPLAY

PURPOSE: A device for forming a dovetail of a bottom bar for an edge-type LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to improve workability and productivity by forming joining projections of the bottom bar into an accurate dovetail shape in a short time by the operation of a mold unit. CONSTITUTION: A device(100) for forming a dovetail of a bottom bar for an edge-type LCD comprises a device body unit(110), a dovetail-shaped unit(120), a press reciprocating unit(130), and a punch fixing unit(140). The device body unit is fixed to a center mold. The dovetail-shaped unit and the press reciprocating unit are installed in one side and the other side of the device body unit respectively and the punch fixing unit is installed in a central part of the device body unit. A punch of the dovetail-shaped unit comprises a dovetail-shaped groove portion for forming joining projections of the bottom bar into a dovetail shape. The press reciprocating unit reciprocates within a predetermined range within a predetermined range by the operation of a mold unit in order to press the bottom bar. The punch fixing unit fixes an end portion of the punch of the dovetail-shaped unit.
