Capping device of a ceiling lamp

The kit has a set of branches (2) to cap a lamp, and a clipping unit (4) clipped on one of the branches. A fixable branch is fixed with the other branch and formed to rest on a base layer of ceiling when an assembled capping device is installed on the base layer of ceiling. The branches are arranged to abut against an edge of a hole in the base layer of the ceiling corresponding to a location of the lamp when an assembled capping device (1) is installed on the base layer of ceiling. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a capping device.
