The present invention relates to a novel Pediococcus pentosaceus KCC-23 (KACC91961P) strain and a composition using the same. More specifically, provided are various antibacterial compositions using an antibacterial activity of the Pediococcus pentosaceus KCC-23. In particular, provided is a microorganism additive for producing silage. Plant silage produced by using the strain according to the present invention may improve a digestion rate of livestock, has an excellent antibacterial effect, and has improved flavors, so the quality of livestock may be improved.
