PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a photographing image from being a tremor image due to a tremor such as a hand tremor and the like occurring in an imaging device when photographing at a long focal distance.SOLUTION: An imaging device comprises: an imaging unit that photographs a subject image formed by an imaging optical system; a focal distance setting unit that sets a focal distance; a focal distance change-over unit that, when an amount of image tremor in accordance with an amount of tremor of the imaging device does not fall within a range of a threshold, changes over the focal distance set by the focal length setting unit to a focal distance at which a size of a spread of blurring of an image to be photographed by the imaging unit is within a tolerance range with respect to a size of a spread of blurring of an image to be photographed by the imaging unit at the focal distance set by the focal distance setting unit, and which is shorter than the focal distance set by the focal length setting unit; and an image cut-out unit that cuts out the image within a range corresponding to an angle of view at the focal distance before changed over from the image photographed at the focal distance after changed over.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
