PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing for washing machine, capable of suppressing occurrence of surface-origin type peeling, and excellent in dimension stability, at low cost.SOLUTION: A rolling bearing for washing machine is configured so that: at least one of an inner ring, an outer ring, and a rolling element is formed of a steel material having a specific composition; the rolling bearing is formed of steel in which a square root of an area of maximum oxide-based inclusion existing in an area 30000 mmwhen measured by an extreme statistic method, is 22-50 μm or less; after hardening and temper, the rolling bearing satisfies the following conditions (A)-(C). The conditions are: (A) hardness after hardening and temper is Hv 715-811; (B) a residual austenite amount after hardening and temper is 11-28 volume%; and (C) when the hardness after hardening and temper is (HV), and the residual austenite amount after hardening and temper is (γR), 810≤(HV)+4(γR)≤871 is satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
