<p>Cosmetic sunscreen composition in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion comprises (a) at least one salt of 12-20C alkyl phosphate, preferably a salt of cetyl phosphate, (b) at least one 14-20C mono- or diacylglyceride, preferably hardened palm oil glyceride, (c) behenyl alcohol, (d) linear primary alkanol with 12-21 or more than 22C, (e) n-hexadecyl-n-nonanoate and/or n-octadecyl-n-nonanoate, (f) 2-ethylhexyl-3 ,5,5-trimethyl hexanoate, and (g) at least one organic UV filter substance dissolved in an oil phase or in a water phase. Cosmetic sunscreen composition in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion comprises (in wt.%, based on the total weight of the sunscreen composition) (a) at least one salt of 12-20C alkyl phosphate, preferably a salt of cetyl phosphate (0.5-2) as anionic oil-in-water emulsifier (0.3?1.7), (b) at least one 14-20C mono- or diacylglyceride, preferably hardened palm oil glyceride, (c) behenyl alcohol (0.3-1), (d) linear primary alkanol with 12-21 or more than 22C (0.03-0.4), (e) n-hexadecyl-n-nonanoate and/or n-octadecyl-n-nonanoate (0.7-2), (f) 2-ethylhexyl-3 ,5,5-trimethyl hexanoate (2-6), (g) at least one organic UV filter substance comprising e.g. 2-cyano-3,3-phenylcinnamic acid-2-ethylhexyl ester or 4-tert-butyl)-4'-ethoxydibenzoylmethane dissolved in an oil phase or in a water phase, or at least one organic UV filter substance comprising e.g. phenylene-1,4-bis(2-benzimidazyl)-3,3'-5,5'-tetrasulfonic acid and/or 2-phenylbenzimidazole-5-sulfonic acid or their salts dissolved in the water phase (at least 15).</p> |
