<p>Regenerated cellulose fiber (1), whose cross-section exhibits an elongated flat portion (3), from which at least one side (4) branches, whose length is not > 40% of the length of the elongated portion, is claimed. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a fiber bundle comprising many regenerated cellulose fibers having many sides, where at least 10%, preferably at least 50% of the cellulose fibers having many sides are present in the form of the cellulose fiber; and (2) preparing the regenerated cellulose fiber or the fiber bundle, comprising (i) providing a viscose spinning mass, and (ii) spinning the viscose spinning mass through at least one opening of a spinneret in a spinning bath to form spinning threads. The opening of the spinneret comprises a slit-shaped section, from which at least one side branches.</p> |
