PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide absorbent resin particles for cosmetics that are excellent in liquid drop performance and smoothness when applied to the skin.SOLUTION: The invention provides absorbent resin particles for cosmetics containing cross linked polymer containing, as essential constitutional units, water soluble vinyl monomer and/or vinyl monomer that may become the water soluble vinyl monomer by hydrolysis, and a crosslinker, wherein the water absorption of the absorbent resin particles for cosmetics to purified water is 50-800 g/g, and the volume mean particle diameter of the absorbent resin particles for cosmetics is 1-50 μm; and a cosmetic using the absorbent resin particles for cosmetics.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
