PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet binding machine which enables simplification and compactification of the structure of a boring device and easy charge of staples.SOLUTION: A paper sheet binding machine binds a paper bundle by using a staple with upper ends of its pair of right and left leg parts connected together in a crown part. The paper sheet binding machine is provided with a transfer table arranged, right and left, with a boring device supported in a freely ascendable and descendable way and having a single boring drill for forming a binding hole through which the leg parts of a staple are inserted into a paper bundle when descending and a binding device binding the paper bundle with a staple and moving in the right and left directions with a paper bundle mounted thereon. The transfer table can be positioned among a home position where a first binding hole is formed by the boring drill, a first transfer position where a second binding hole is formed by the boring drill and a second transfer position where the paper bundle is bound by the binding device. |
