PURPOSE: A power plant using piezoelectric elements is provided to change pressure energy into electric energy by installing piezoelectric elements. CONSTITUTION: A piezoelectric element part(10) comprises multiple piezoelectric elements for converting external pressure into electric energy. A rectifier circuit(30) generates direct current by wave-rectifying the electric energy. A smoothing circuit(40) removes ripple included in the direct current outputted from the rectifier circuit. A storage battery(50) stores direct voltage outputted from the smoothing circuit. An overvoltage protection circuit(20) cuts off overvoltage through the piezoelectric element part.
