PURPOSE: A device for protecting a dust collector from overload is provided to control an output voltage according the size of an excess current and to improve the performance of a dust collector. CONSTITUTION: An output controlling terminal changes the output voltage of a VCC generator into a first setting voltage. A frequency-to-voltage converter(470) converts the frequency of the output signal of a first comparator into voltage. A first signal adjustment unit(460) controls the output level of the first comparator to the input level of the frequency-to-voltage converter. A second signal adjustment unit(480) generates the signal for the output controlling terminal according to the size of the voltage outputted from the frequency-to-voltage converter.
