PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feed roller in which a spherical filler such as resin beads and the like is blended in a thermoplastic elastomer, which is softer than the present situation, which has a small friction factor and which can be produced at a low cost and to provide a production method for the same.SOLUTION: A paper feed roller is made by the extrusion molding of a resin composition containing a thermoplastic elastomer and a spherical filler, has a friction factor of less than 0.5 and a type A durometer hardness of 90 or less. A production method for the paper feed roller includes a step performing extrusion molding through a die corresponding to the cross-sectional shape of the paper feed roller at a set temperature of the resin composition of less than T-5°C to the melting point T(°C) of the thermoplastic elastomer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
