PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content adaptive type multiple focal point display.SOLUTION: The multiple focal point display expresses a three-dimensional scene from a series of two-dimensional images positioned at different focal planes. Positions of the focal planes are selected on the basis of an analysis of the three-dimensional scene to be rendered by the multiple focal point display.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
