PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive circuit for an ultrasonic motor which can quickly stop the ultrasonic motor with a simple constitution.SOLUTION: A drive circuit 20 for an ultrasonic motor comprises push-pull type transformers TA, TB including a primary coil NP having an intermediate tap CT connected to one electrode side of a DC power supply and a secondary coil NS connected to piezoelectric elements 1A, 1B of an ultrasonic motor 100, and changeover parts Q1A, Q2A, Q1B, Q2B for connecting both ends of the primary coil NP to the other electrode of the DC power supply when stopping the ultrasonic motor 100.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
