Disclosed is a composition comprising a first compound. The first compound can be applied as a phosphorescent emitter in an organic light emitting device at room temperature, and has at least one aromatic ring and at least one substituent R. Each R is an organic group having at least two elements X, and each X is independently selected from the group consisting of Si and Ge, wherein each R is directly combined to one of the aromatic rings.
