PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide insulation paper having improved characteristics, particularly, insulation paper having improved electrical insulation properties and strength.SOLUTION: Provided is insulation paper made of an aramid fibrid including: an aramid flock having the average fiber length of 2 to 10 mm and the average fiber size of 10 to 30 μm; and an aramid fibrid having the first aramid fibrid having the average width of 5 to 20 μm and the second aramid fibrid having the average width of above 20 to 40 μm, and having a dielectric strength of 16 kV/mm or higher and a tear strength of 28 mN m/g or higher.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
