PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint eliminating any caulking work, showing less number of kinds of component members, capable performing work only through screw fastening work, capable of preventing any occurrence of poor states such as leakage after work and showing a low cost.SOLUTION: A pipe joint 1 is operated in such a way that an O-ring 60 is stored in advance in an O-ring storing part 12 in a pipe end 11 of a pipe joint main body pipe 10 of which diameter is expanded, a pipe body 50 passed through a connecting member 20 and a pipe fixing nut 40 is inserted from the pipe end 11 into the joint main body pipe 10, an assembled nut 30 immovably assembled into the joint main body pipe 10 is fastened to a threaded part 221 of a fastened part 22 of the connecting member 20, the O-ring 60 is deformed to depress the outer peripheral wall of the pipe body 50 to seal the pipe body 50, the threaded part 441 of a pipe fixing nut 40 is fastened to a tapered thread 331 of the fixing part 23 of the connecting member 20, a slit 232 is deformed in a narrowing direction and the diameter of the fixing part 23 is shrunk to cause the pipe body 50 to be fixed to the connecting member 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
