The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a flexible substrate and, more specifically, to a method for manufacturing a flexible substrate, comprising: a step of forming a separation layer on a carrier substrate; a step of forming an electrode pattern layer on the separation layer; a step of forming a polymer layer on the separation layer on which the electrode pattern layer is formed; a step of making at least some portions of periphery portions of the carrier substrate and the separation layer to come into contact with water-based stripper and peeling off the separation layer from the substrate. Therefore, the method may prevent an electrode pattern layer or the like from being damaged, when the flexible substrate is peeled off from a carrier substrate, and allow a user to easily perform a peel-off process.
