<p>Bathtub with side opening to be mounted over existing bathtubs and installable without demolishing and removing the old tub and the related containment wall, and method for installing the tub with side opening over an existing bathtub comprising the following steps: - realization of a aperture of determined height in the side wall of the existing bathtub, - overlay of new bathtub with opening made watertight through suitable sealers, - connection and sealing of the drains between old and new tub, - closing of the side aperture by means of a door equipped with hinges and latch for watertight.</p> |
