PURPOSE: A rotary heat exchanger is provided to increasing heat exchange efficiency by the high thermal conductivity of a heat exchange medium, thereby decreasing the entire size of the rotary heat exchanger, and increasing an available temperature range because of the high cool resistance and thermal resistance of the heat exchange medium. CONSTITUTION: A rotary heat exchanger(1) includes a housing(10), a heat exchange drum(30), a ring-shaped cover(35), a heat exchange medium(38), a cleaning chamber(13), a drying chamber(15), a heat exchange medium transporting part(50), a drum actuating part(36), and a cover actuating part(37). The heat exchange mediums(38) are respectively accommodated in the shape of plural grains inside plural accommodating spaces. The heat exchange medium transporting part(50) connects the cleaning chamber(13) with the drying chamber(15), and transports the heat exchange medium(38) within the cleaning chamber(13) to the drying chamber(15). The drum actuating part(36) rotates the heat exchange drum(30) on the center of the heat exchange drum(30) against the housing(10). The cover actuating part(37) relatively rotates the ring-shaped cover(35) on the center of the heat exchange drum(30) against the outer circumference surface of the heat exchange drum(30). |
