OPTICAL TIME DOMAIN REFLECTOMETER

PURPOSE: An OTDR(Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) is provided to drive a measuring device with low driving voltage and to measure the failure of an optical fiber line and the length of the optical fiber line at high accuracy. CONSTITUTION: An OTDR(10) comprises measure a state and the length of an optical communication line. The OTDR is connected to optical fibers(60,61). Two I/O(Input/Output) ports(11,12) are formed in the OTDR. Both end portions of the optical fibers are connected to the I/O ports so that the optical fibers form a closed loop.
