<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, wherein it is difficult to stably perform zero-voltage switching (ZVS) of a main switch for an inverter. <P>SOLUTION: The power converter unit has an auxiliary circuit 5 for ZVS, in addition to an inverter circuit 6. Comprising first to fourth auxiliary switches Q1 to Q4, first to fourth auxiliary diodes Da to Dd, first and second auxiliary capacitors Ca, Cb, and a resonance reactor Lr, the auxiliary circuit 5 is formed symmetric, in between a positive-side conductor 3 and a negative-side conductor 4.
