摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract an effective spectrum region in performing spectrum computing processing without the erroneous determination of a sharp spectrum as noise even for the spectrum having a sharp peak. <P>SOLUTION: On the basis of the intersection X<SB>z</SB>of a specified value Y<SB>lim</SB>(=2.5) and an absolute value ¾Y¾, values Y<SB>a</SB>and Y<SB>b</SB>at both-side adjacent reference points X<SB>a</SB>, X<SB>b</SB>(X<SB>a</SB><X<SB>b</SB>) separated by a specified gap X<SB>gap</SB>(=0.2[THz]) of the absolute value ¾Y¾ are detected. When both Y<SB>a</SB>and Y<SB>b</SB>do not exceed the specified value Y<SB>lim</SB>, X<SB>z</SB>is neither X<SB>min</SB>nor X<SB>max</SB>. When one of Y<SB>a</SB>and Y<SB>b</SB>exceeds Y<SB>lim</SB>, the X range of the side which does not exceed Y<SB>lim</SB>is determined as an effective range, and X<SB>z</SB>is determined as X<SB>min</SB>or X<SB>max</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p>
