<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake pedal device which is light in weight and has a small number of components. <P>SOLUTION: An oscillatably supported arm member 8 and lever member 12 are oscillatably connected by a link member 16 via a first fulcrum pin 18 and a second fulcrum pin 20. The arm member 8 is orthogonal to the first fulcrum pin 18 , and dividedly formed of an arm left half body 22 and an arm right half body 24. The lever member 12 is orthogonal to the second fulcrum pin 20, and dividedly formed of a lever left half body 38 and a lever right half body 40. Insertion holes 30, 32 into which the first fulcrum pin 18 is inserted are embossed on the arm left half body 22 and the arm right half body 24. The first fulcrum pin 18 fixed on the link member 16 is inserted into the insertion holes 30, 32, and the arm left half body 22 and the arm right half body 24 are superposed and welded. Similarly, insertion holes 46, 48 are embossed on the lever left half body 38 and the lever right half body 40.
