MEASUREMENT SYSTEM OF UTILIZATION LEVEL FOR KNOWLEDGE INFORMATION OF BIM-BASED DESIGN WORK ENVIRONMENT

A building information modeling (BIM) design is able to be considered as a knowledge information-based technique of an architecture design field. The BIM design provides a platform effective to build and utilize various property information connected to 3D shape information. Since the property information is able to store and reuse various information of a project by digitizing the same, the information is able to be utilized as architecture knowledge. A domestic architecture design environment has been changing to an environment to connect knowledge information based-architectural design system with a BIM technique, however due to a change in work environment of a design office use the same, it is difficult to apply the changed environment. Moreover, specific guide with respect to insufficient elements and required elements in a current work environment to apply the BIM technique is not suggested, thereby not applying the BIM technique. According to one embodiment of the present invention, an architecture design support system supports measuring a method to manage design information of the design office with a measurement index using two techniques of the measurement index to diagnose a level of the current architecture design work environment, and an evaluating system to suggest a diagnose and a direction using the measurement index, and realizing the BIM design based on the result of the evaluating system for suggesting an environment required to apply the BIM design. The architecture design support system to measure knowledge information of the present invention comprises a work environment setting unit.
