The present invention relates to a water-repellent coating agent for automobiles, wherein the coating agent comprises, as a base component of the coating agent, 10-20 wt% of a silicone resin of the following formula; R is a methyl group; as a water-repellent lustering agent for imparting water repellency and luster to the surface of a target object, 1-5 wt% of a silane compound having a silane group and a C1-C20 alkyl group and 1-3 methoxy groups;, 10-30 wt% of a first solvent in which to dissolve the base component; and 50-70 wt% of a second solvent in which to dissolve the water-repellent lustering agent and the base component. |
