Provided is a system for managing attendance/absence by using location identification based on a mobile terminal and a Wi-Fi access point. According to the present invention, the system is configured to minimize costs for implementing an attendance/absence managing system by conducting attendance/absence management through a mobile terminal like a smartphone. According to the present invention, the system comprises: an access point module having a unique identification number in an access point; an employee mobile terminal for detecting current location information of an employee; and an attendance/absence managing server storing and managing employee attendance/absence information including attendance and absence of the employee, and an employee′s belonging work place.
