The embodiments of the present invention relate to an electronic device and a method for tracking eye gaze in the electronic device. The method of the present invention judges a distance between the electronic device and an eye, on the basis of at least two reflection points formed on a cornea by at least two light sources, and set at least one virtual light source corresponding to the light sources on the basis of the judged distance, and can track the eye gaze on the basis of the reflection points formed on the cornea and a virtual reflection point as to the virtual light source.
