PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jitter separation device capable of separating deterministic jitter from total jitter with high accuracy.SOLUTION: From a first transmission data pattern output unit 11, as a signal of a first transmission pattern, a signal of a cycle in which waveforms having a same shape are repeated in a fixed cycle is transmitted. A signal reception unit 20 calculates random jitter on the basis of a signal of a reception wave returned from a measurement object 100. Next, from a second transmission data pattern output unit 12, as a signal of a second transmission pattern, a random signal is transmitted. The signal reception unit 20 separates deterministic jitter from total jitter contained in the signal of the reception wave returned from the measurement object, on the basis of distribution of the calculated random jitter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
